Addition or adding, is when two or more numbers are put together into one to make one big number that will be the finished product. For example, take 2+2, you can use a simple trick where if you hold two fingers up in one hand then two in the other and count how many you've held up, you have added them up! 2+2 is 4.
Now, you can also use one hand or both! You can use one hand to do 2 + 2, put up two fingers, then put up two fingers again and count it. For bigger numbers, such as 5+5, you can put both hands' fingers up! So 5 on one hand and 5 on the other, then count it!
